    Our son dropped the phonein the toilet. We dried it out and put it back together. When you turn it on the screen is white and flickers... Any advice??? The only thing we did notice is that there is now a red dot on the battery. Would this mean a new battery oris the phone dead?

    Aww man, the title got me all worked up!

    Put the phone in a bag of uncooked rice for a couple days. This will suck out any excess water. Don't put the battery in at all until those couple days are over. Good luck!

    The red dot let's the insurance company know that the phone got wet. It will dry pink and stay that way.

    further to that, don't power up the phone until u r pretty sure the phone has dried out

    this prevents short circuiting the motherboard
