I just signed up for twitter and i was wondering if there was a good 3rd party twitter app for my blackberry storm. Anybody know of any good ones that are preferably free?

twitterberry, but i tried it and it works, but it definitely wasn't the storm version, or its just not built for the storm.

Twitterberry works just fine for the Storm. It was probably the first app I got with the thing. It's worked like a charm for me, I'd recommend you check it out.

I love TwitterBerry... It could stand to be Storm optimized though. I'm writing my own Twitter app for the Storm, too, so keep your eyes peeled!

If only Twibble was compatible with the Storm. It looks like it could be better than twitterberry.

What would be the easiest way that I can upload pictures and post them on twitter from my storm? I tried twitterberry but it keeps resetting my phone

apparently socialscope is the best...still waiting to get my hands on a copy. until then twitteryberry is probably your best alternative. get the .8 version though.

are you using .8 or the .9 beta? The resetting is a common problem w/ the .9 beta, which is why a lot of people returned to .8 (among other problems).

    uh huh.
supposedly, if you beg and plead, pray to a secret moon-god, and then say "socialscope" 3 times into a mirror, you can get accepted into the mysterious secret society of socialscope alpha users. Until then, you'll just have to listen to tall tales of how fabulous it is and use twitterberry with the rest of us commoners.

if you use twitterberry, it does both at once...
if you are uploading directly to twitpic, if you add a comment to the pic, it should post the comment and the link to the pic to your twitter acct automatically.

I like SocialScope and TinyTwitter. The 0.9 beta of Twitterberry looks promising.

SS is cool because I can keep an eye on both Twitter and Facebook.

I've been using TwitterBerry without issue for weeks now but all of the sudden it's failing. It either freezes with the TB icon highlighted and I can't use the scroll or nothing happens at all when I click the icon. I've even uninstalled, restarted and reinstalled. No luck. Same thing keeps happening.

    Any suggestions?
