    Which new features?

Which version number are you running? I thought 3.0.2 was the newest one.

latitude isn't enabled unless you do so thru the app... I believe that's the only addition that was added in the new one. I still prefer to have the latest and greatest though

it may be something with the permission. try to set 'allow' to all.
regarding the latitude, it may works if the user has gmail account and registered (fill in username and password) first. yes it may take 'sometime' to lock the satelite regarding our position, but afterwards it 'bloody' useful for mapping where you are.

I can not see any difference between 3.0.2 and 3.0.1

Google maps is quite extraordinary when the location you seek has street view available

I believe the difference between 3.0.1 and 3.0.2 was the ability for the Storm to get a GPS lock in 3.0.2

At least that's when I first was able to... Google didn't really seem to document what that update was for.

3.0.2 just added Storm compatibility, thats it.

Google maps is just about perfect, all it needs is the ability to add search results to the address book. It is so frustrating that it cant do this.
