It's a great update. If you want to see how good/bad it is read the forums. I am getting the feeling from hours of lurking that people like .109 a lot. Dive in to the "How to guides" in the forum and enjoy .109 . ~Enjoy
Just do it. Nothing to worry about. .109 is the best so far thats been released to the masses.

i have had some rather strange glitches to report...after my clean install of .109, now when i am doing nothing with my phone, it will randomly dial the first contact in my list incessantly! it has been dialing randomly and i have had to do several bat pulls and nothing at all seems to make it stop...other than that, i was initially quite impressed with the build, but now not so much???
It's easy for me because I've installed EVERY leak OS. And .109 is the best from a speed and stability point. Not one BBM freeze over 48 hours of heavy usage. Everything is solid about this release.

This was my 3rd leaked OS I installed. This was the easiest so far. Didn't lose anything, no glitches, no problems at all. Seems great so far. Go for it, no worries.
memory is so much better, but i did get a random reset today...never had one ever on any OS except for either 90 or 99 i forget. (whatever one was released about 1-2 days before jan 22nd). keyboard from port to landscape sometimes blanks out and comes back. red led sometimes says on. overall its good. i just came from 103/106 hybrid (103 CDMA package, 106 java package) and its a little swifter but better memory management it seems.on for 2 hrs and at 46mb. from yesterdays load til reset 2 hrs ago i saw it at around 30mb. usually im down to 16-21mb.
Do a backup before and restore it after. I noticed the restore process wasn't so smooth for some reaosn and some of my settings did not transfer over. A manual restore fixed it though.
Just do it, you won't be disappointed! The only time I ever had a problem with an upgrade was the first time I wiped my phone. I learned from my mistake and all is good.
