AIM on the storm is confusing me!! i was im'ing my friend on my comuter whos on aim on the strom and it seems like its using text msg's!! i see a moblie icon next to the SN and it says TEXT MESSAGES to XXXX FROM XXX on the text box on my computer and theres a character limit of 130. can someone confirm that it is still using the data instead of sms text. we downloaded v2.2.31 the aim program from the blackberry website... i kno my curve wasnt like this...
I use AIM on my Storm just about every day. I have not been "charged" for any text messages. Matter of fact I do not even have a text plan with Verizon. I think charging for text messaging when you already pay for a data plan is petty. (sorry about wandering off topic.)
