    I haven't.

I'm tethered to my computer right now, so I can't really check. I'll check in the morning and I guess I'll report back via BlackBerry. What's the difference in the servicebooks and having the regular AIM client installed? Notice anything different?

I already had it DL'd so I can't tell. My AIM icon is the old "running man" icon, does the push change it to AIM 6 with AIM in the red bubble?

I don't understand what this means? AIM pushed to the phone? Like IM forwarding? There's a dedicated app.

You can just hide the icons. Nice thing with the Sprint curve is we have plenty of memory

    Like he said hide them.
They don't take up a lot of space and we have plenty of memory. You can just create a new folder and name it junk move it to the bottom of you menu page and hide it.
That's what I do with all unused icons

    ...or just resend service books.

    As in service book push.

Yeah this has always been there I remember using this when I first got my bb.

I've had every 8XXX series BB that Sprint has ever released and I've never had the actual AIM service book pushed to my device.

    hasnt that always been there?

    Not that I've ever seen.

I also got it, it just showed up there, what the heck???

Exactly. I've never had an AIM service book or icon pushed to my device and all of the sudden....BAM....there it was!

My brother and I got curves back in July and got AIM with a service book push after activation. My sister just got one on Jan 1 and she didn't get it. My original one got stolen and I got a new one in Feb. and it was there again.

Weird! I've had my 8330 since the first week it was made available for consumer purchase (early June '08 I believe) and I've never had the AIM service book. I'm seeing a mixed batch of people who've had it from the get go and people who just got it last night. You would think that every Sprint customer would get the same pushed content. *scratches head*
