Sorry if this is in the wrong area, but I wanted to lean on some of the knowledge of the Crackberry community.

I recently "acquired" a Trojan virus. I think I got it from a MP3 or something similar. I have Norton Corporate and it notified me that I have a threat. I followed the suggested method of removal and downloaded the Symantec Removal Tool, but it has not been able to remove the virus. The name of the virus is: Trojan.Brisv.A!inf I tried looking online for resolutions, but nothing has worked and I really don't want to have to wipe my laptop clean, I have too many files that I need and can't lose. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try going to http://www.housecall.trendmicro.com and use their online virus scan. I've used it a few times to remove viruses others couldn't remove.

Not sure it supports Vista. Any other ideas?

Did you go here to download this tool, see if it will help

    How to remove Trojan.Brisv.A ?

I do not use norton - I have used NOD32 for many years and have never had an issue with a virus. I prefer NOD since it uses little to no resources compared to many others I have tried.
