Is there any way to choose how your applications can look? If i add a new folder can choose how it looks?

This should be theme controlled, you could choose a new theme, or create one with the specific icons you'd want.

You can change the look of the folder when you create/edit it by clicking on the icon next to its name, however, icons are theme/application controlled
