i know how to set the wallpaper, that is not the problem.
im using the standard att theme on my blackberry curve.
but when i set the wallpaper.
the image only shows behind the icons.
so i cuts most of the picture out.
when i had my bberry pearl it was cover the entire background.
what could be causing this?

I have the 8310 Curve fom AT&T. When I would set a picture as background it did the same thing.
What I did to reslove the issue was to go to the picture I wanted, hit the menu button then hit "zoom 1:1" then save as background. I tried it with pics I have taken as well as with pics I downloaded and it seems to work fine. Hope that helps.

Try using a different theme........I was having the same issue, then I started using the Zen theme, and the entire photo shows fine.
