    Nope. Verizon doesn't support Extended SMS on BlackBerry. If the recipient can receive them, you can use MMS and have up to 1000 characters.

    When I want to increase the number of words in a text, I generally just send an email instead. Or make a phone call. I can get as many words in a phone call as I need.

    Sorry if this sounds snarky, I just don't know why you would want to text something that involved when there are other viable options.

    Number of characters is limited by the bandwidth, hence Short Message Service.

    well verizon made it so it won't auto over the 160 limit and just 2 txt messages we have to do it by hand
