    I'm really nervous to go through my computer because I think I have computer virus problems, and I don't want any of my phone info on here, and I don't want to transfer files that are possibly infected, etc. Is there any way to get it directly to your device? Thanks!!

    Gotcha, i saw the transfer files part and was assuming that she was worried about if her PC had a virus, if she transferred files form PC to BB it could affect the device...

    Sorry to hear about your comp being infected but you have to go through your DM in order to do the update. Maybe you could get some virus removal (ie:norton) and clean ur comp up and then you should have no problem.

    Thanks for the info everyone! Yeah, my computer is supposedly clean (I have AVG) but it has been acting funny lately, so I don't really want to chance it.

    Spyware is a biggie right now, especially MS anti-spyware 2009. I got that couple weeks ago and it shut my PC down...

    IF you need a good AV I would try eset nod32. Its super simple, super effective a small footprint and free for 30 days. I have used it for years and I do some shady stuff on my pc and never an infection - blocked many though....

    EDIT: Typing at the same time....... good to hear you have something. AVG works just fine too....
