Not trying to be contentious, but just got my 1st bb, the bold, and can't understand why the storm would be a choice. its a bold without a keyboard? What's the big deal with touchscreen?

The size of the screen was my decider, and also, I wasn't too sure if the trackball was for me. With the BB browser, though, I'm still bleeding well swiping my thumb all the damn time.
Plus I feel that touchscreens offer more varied control options, providing that developers can be bothered to come up with them.
my main reason for getting the storm was i have verizon... if i had at&t i'd probably have the bold -imho the storm is the best phone on verizon so it was a fairly simple for me
1. I like Verizon and not AT&T.
2. Screen size.
3. Ex iPhone user, now Storm, so the touchscreen is key.
4. Ex Curve user, never could get used to the trackball.
But its haunted in there! I was only joking, somewhat!

It WAS pretty funny. Not all of us are like that thou.
I choose the Storm because it was available on Verizon, and because I get more screen bang for my buck. The Bold has a great screen too (as does the 8900) BUT with the Storm you get all screen, GREAT for watching movies and browsing in about the same form factor.
IF I was an ATT person I would probably be happy with a Bold, but I'm sure glad I'm on VZW and a Storm owner. (Warts and all! Besides I like to fiddle with my electronics)
