I just updated this morning from 0.75 to 0.99 and my browser was missing but that was no biggie since I knew to just resend the service books. However, I used to have an "application central" icon which is no longer there. I always thought it was kind of useless, but has this been removed intentionally or am I just missing it. I did a search here but didn't find anyone asking about this.

Edit: Nevermind, I'm an *****. I don't have it but it is called "application center" rather than "central" so I found other threads about it.

if you are referring to the downloadable apps, my folder is just named applications...mayber the name just changed...and make sure it isnt hidden

It's not hidden. "Application central" was kind of like add/remove programs on windows.

Plug your phone in and go to your DM.
Application Loader---Add/Remove Applications
Check BlackBerry Application Center

After loading it from DM do a battery pull and the icon should show up

Yeah, I edited my original post. I thought it was called "application central" so when I searched on CB I didn't get many hits. Once I figured out the right name I figured out I need to reload it .

Mine is missing also ...

uninstalled application center and reinstall with DM .
also went to host and registered again ...

still no application center

Check inside the applications folder. It got moved there in the .80ies

Resend the service books from within the email setup app. This method of sending the service books is different than using the HRT method.

It should be in the Applications folder. The icon for application center has changed with the later OS.
