I paid $400.00 plus tax with a $100.00 mail in rebate. I absolutely love the phone (although only slightly diff from 8330) but I am questioning whether it was worth the hefty price tag. This however is going to be my last bb meaning I have finally found it all in one phone, and just don't think it could get any better. I had the storm, but was thoroughly disappointed. But...why is this phone so damn expensive?
I paid 549.99 and it was worth every friggin penny. Yes I'm nuts but it was a great investment. Best phone I have ever owned. I'm sure It woud be even better with 3G but I don't much care.

I paid around 500 but that was with insurance and an upgrade since I was only halfway trough my 2 year contract.it was totally worth it.I cannot describe how great this fone is.can't get any better.if someone would trade me their laptop for it I would say no lol

I paid $250 after $100 rebate. The phone is expensive, but worth it. My company gets killer discounts from AT&T for the service but nothing off the hardware. I get 450 minutes, unlimited data, 200 texts, and insurance for $67 per month including the taxes.
$49.99 (after a horrible customer service experience with AT&T I convinced them to sell me a refurb for $149 which turned into a brand new Bold at the retail refurb price of $249 with a $100 bill credit and a $100 rebate so technically it is only costing me $49 bucks for a brand new Bold! Did that make sense?!LOL!) and it will be here Tuesday! I anticipate a long lasting and loving relationship. I am currently an 8310 curve user. Brother-in-law has a Storm and I think I will pass on that one
Does the price really matter if serves it's purpose and is cost effective?
If you have to look at the cost as the only criteria then the thing is not for you.
Not a toy for most, the Blackberry is a specialized product that serves several markets.
UH RIGHT! I do believe I spoke briefly about having the curve and if it was worth paying a much higher price to upgrade to the bold. Clearly I am a bb user, but it would be silly for many to lie and say "I never thought about the price I had to pay." "read and pay attention my friend"
I got MY BOLD absolutely free, company dolled out 10 of these bad boys and I was one of the lucky ones, mwahahaha FreeBB FTW!

Right! Is this the reason you can get a curve for nearly 99.00 bucks, and all the welfare recipients now own bb's? I tend to think it's not the phone for people who don't utilize every feature, but rim has made a way to appeal to people who could not afford bb's before as did apple. I don't care how much money I have sitting in the bank, the reason I could afford this phone was because I make careful and well thought out decisions financially, you would be a fool to drop 400.00 on a phone (even if you loved it) and never ever think about the price you just paid, because had it been a crappy phone (like the storm) and you paid 400.00 for it, that would be the first thing you'd complain about.
