Does the storm's LED flash when you get a missed call?

for some reason, mine doesn't flash. I get a missed call and no led flashing. Any reason why?

go to your clock and make sure you have exited out of bedside mode. also what OS are you running ?

right now, .75. Exited out of bedside mode, did a test call and still no led flashing. does yours flash red when you get a missed call?

yes mine does , how expierenced are you with blackberrys ? i would reccomend a battery pull. if you have dont that and its still not working , and your comfertable with it , i would upgrade to the lates OS .90 its a huge step up from what version your using .

This is my first blackberry. Came for a Treo 700w. Been reading up a lot about blackberrys though and specifically the storm. Don't know why I never had a blackberry before! Anyways, I read somewhere that the LED won't flash for missed calls unless you have a program like BB alerts. The LED flashes for emails and texts but not for missed calls.

The previous post is true. It will not continue to flash for missed calls. I use BBalerts to fix this problem. When i first got the phone i asked this question and i checked on here and blackberry forums and everyone said it does not flash on missed calls. So whoever says it continues to flash is mistaken.
However, BBAlerts is not 100% perfect for the storm, it functions correctly but scrolling through menus is tough but usable.

I also do not know if it has been fixed since .75, because ive been using BBalerts ever since.

The LED flashes continuously for new alerts only, whether it is email, SMS, or any instant messenger. Even weatherbug app for new alerts.

Thanks guys, kinda sucks though that RIM would not a LED flash alert for missed calls. Hopefully with their official updates, they would fix this problem.
