Hey guys, I will be recieving my second storm tomorrow,(1st one bought day it came out and returned next day) so I am giving it another shot and have been reading a lot about the new versions. So I am making a poll to see what you guys think is the best and most stable.

.88 was very nice for me, just the charging issue. Putting in auto bedside mode helps IMO but only helps not eliminates it.

86 for me. Only 2 things are the darn blinking led lights. Freaken annoying. I disabled led alerts and now I get the coverage led light which is disabled yet still blinks. After battery issue goes away only to return soon after a few hrs. Stereo bluetooth not working for me on .86 but still I think best os so far. Very responsive otherwise. Actually very happy with it.

I played with an updated storm today, and simply canceled my order and am getting the Blackberry Bold with AT&T. I came from the iPhone, and a terrible experience with the Windows Mobile 7 Mogul with Sprint. And the Storm seems like the same bull**** like the Mogul. Always have to check the memory and space and bs, and changing firmware.

So when I changed to the iPhone i was happy because I didn't have to mess with that crap. But I played with the bold and it is reliable and no bs.

They should have waited until they perfected the storm before they put it for sale. Sorry guys

wow..all the .86 voters have to be smoking crack. I know everyones phone reacts differently but come on now? It is almost impossible to go more then 24 hours without a battery pull (or soft pull). Either due to led light, BB app switcher not working, options in phone not working etc etc..

.86 is by far the worst leaked OS to date (Just way too many issues with it, compared to fixes...). And if what CX has said about .88 OS being just as bad (for 9530 users), I'm beginning to wonder when RIM is going to get it's act together. I understand that they are leaked OS and are not considered official in any way (from a Service Provider standpoint) but it becomes frustrating to see one issue resolved to only find another issue arise in the process (in some cases an issue that wasn't an issue before now has become one or even better an issue that was resolved in an earlier build reappearing in a later build...). I understand that software development is not an easy task, but to see negative progression in a majority of every .8X build is somewhat unacceptable.

86 is the worst. Battery cant make it for more than a few hours with constant use and browser dosent even properly display text.

After 86 I dont think I will update my phone with anything leaked for the first week or so after it comes out. It was just that bad.

I'm running 75 here, and I haven't had any software issues whatsoever. 0 random reboots, which is refreshing since my Dare rebooted about 3-5 times daily.
