I am lookin for someplace to download the default ringtones and alert sounds
for a Blackberry Pearly 8110 because somehow my Notifier_Contentment
sound is gone and I want to replace it - I have searched everywhere.

Are you sure it's gone??? All of the preloaded ringtones are compiled into one module. It's not possible for only one to go missing...

yes there is no alert called Notifier_Contentment

I just need to download it so I can send it to my phone

I don't think you really understood what I said... The only way to get preloaded ringtones, is by installing the OS to your computer. All of those preloaded ringtones are compiled into one file. You can't just simply download that one ringtone. Nor is it possible for only one to go missing. More likely, all of them would be gone/missing.

With your phone on, remove the battery for 30 seconds, then put it back in. Check again to see if the ringtone is there.

Oh....just downloaded OS6 for my BB Bold 9700. The new "sounds" are crap! And very few of them to boot. Not sure how to install new sounds to phone. I've d/l them to my computer.

U can either email them to yourse BB and save them to ur phone or card memory or you can download them straight from bb browser!
