Anyone else have problems with their 3G coverage? Mine is not very fast at all. Every page takes forever to load and for the 2 weeks that I had the Storm (before I took it back), Verizon's 3G seemed to be pretty quick.

Does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

Mine is pretty quick. Do you have javascript support on? Sometimes that causes a problem with certain pages.

Its not the 3G coverage it's $hitty Blackberry Browser that takes forever to render and load. Try Opera Mini.

I have not been a fan of Opera Mini since the Browser upgrades on 4.5 and up. However, a few of my buddies swear by it, so it could not hurt to try it out. Also, it could be the area you are in as someone stated before.

My WiFi is solid. My phone is right here, ten feet from the router, 16mbps cable connection. It shifts back and forth all the time but for the most part it sticks with the 3G. It kinda renders the WiFi feature useless. Although it's not that useful to begin with so it's not a huge deal.

Also, I used Opera on my 8310 and I agree with you, the new BlackBerry browser has greatly improved.

I already had the Storm, for something like 2-3 weeks. I did not like it. I don't like touchscreen, period. I need little buttons staring up at me, just begging for a pressing.

Make sure under connection settings you have WIFI preferred selected.

Connection Settings? If you're talking about Manage Connections, nowhere in there can I find anything that gives me the option to set it to WiFi Preferred. Can you point me in the direction to this option please?

I get the same problems. The browser sucks because it keeps switching from 3g to edge and when that happens it hangs up.

It chooses 3g over wifi too and again when it switches it hangs up.

I get excellent 3G coverage. Internet speeds are fast for a Blackberry. Compared to the Nokia E71-2 I had, it's not as fast because Nokia has a better browser. But I'm a lot happier with the Bold than the Curve I had. Edge is painfully slow!

3G sucks?? I think not. 3G also affects voice. The Bold is one of the best RF and call quality phones I have owned. And I have owned A LOT of phones.
