Has anyone tryd It out yet, the have it on CNN, its cheaper than the other black one and it says it compatable. Does anyone have experience with this trackball?

The only difference I see is that the ring around the ball on the G1 is black and the OEM has a silver ring.

The G1 uses the exact same trackball as a blackberry. They're made by the same manufacturer. I would imagine that they are about the same as far as tactile feel, responsiveness, etc.

I just installed mine several days ago and it feels the same as the stock BB trackball. I have no experience with the G1 so I can't compare that way.

I ordered one of these and a full black case for my 8330 last week, and I am waiting for it to be delivered. CNN takes a while to ship, but they have the most reasonable prices and always have the best BlackBerry parts in stock.

Yes they do, i tell ya if you ever bump the shipping up, they are fast. I ordered a few G1 trackballs on Friday afternoon and by Yesterday morning at 8:00 a.m. Fed Ex was at my door. The shipping i chose said 4 days. I was impressed...
