If you're like me and wanted the Earth (Aurora Borealis from space) wallpaper on the Precision Zen theme instead of Precision Silver on your 8900 Curve, this post is for you. I found it really annoying that the wallpaper wasn't stored as an image on the phone so I went and made one. Thanks tom1l21 for pointing me to the right search on Google.
It was interesting that I had to squash the images I got from Google to match the Precision Silver's version of it - even squashed I couldn't get enough 'earth' to match the scaling. I also made mine a bit bluer that the original.
Thank you for posting this. I have the Curve 8900 on T-Mobile. I like the Precision T-Mobile default theme because of the color icons. If I switch themes to the Precision Silver, I get this theme but I lose the color icons. I thought to myself "Easy enough- I'll just change the homescreen image to this picture", but as you stated, I couldn't find the file anywhere on the device.
I believe that this theme shows the pacific northwest the wide east/west trending valley appears to be the Frasier River Valley which passes through Vancouver BC.
The Queen Charlotte islands are my guess off the coast, and the Aurora Borealis is seen hovering in the top of the photo.
My guess is this is a Space Shuttle oblique which was snapped one evening as the sun was setting here.
thank you so much,
does anyone else have any other default backgrounds to post, because all the preloaded material on my blackberry got deleted when I was updating it.
