I am going to Jamaica in a few months for vacation. I have a Verizon 8330. Will I still be able to send/receive Messenger messages? I don't care anything about e-mails or voice (roaming). Just want to stay connected to friends. I examined the Verizon web page and found no information about Messenger. Does anyone know what coverage is like and what the charges would be?

I would touch base with Verizon to make sure you don't get whacked with an enormous Data Roaming charge... and get a response in writing... just in case
