    The full retail price for a 8900 from Rogers is 599 CAD plus 13% tax. Cost me roughly 600 USD.

    how is it even possible to unlock the phone? cant i just insert the sim in india or tmo USA and use it?

    or if i know someone who works for rogers...can they possible get the unlock code?

    Yes you can unlock them. The ones I can aquire are the T-Mobile USA QWERTY, when unlock you can use them with any GSM carrier.

    Here is the Rogers retail price for the 8900.

    As far as i know Rogers doesn't carry the unlock codes.

    Actually $199 on a 3yr... Price went up at the beginning of the month.
