AT&T's coverage wasn't very good when I switched to Verizon a few years ago.

I switched from ATT to Verizon so I could have the STorm, however have been with ATT and travel all over the country for business and have never had a problem. So far no problem with Verizon either.

So guess I really don't have a preference at this point, it is more the phone offering. I think ATT has a better selection of phones, but the don't have the STORM.

att for me. coverage is much better where i live with att than verizon. apple all the way, but, no iphone.

Thought I read somewhere that at&t only covers 43% of the country which included all major cities while vz covers 85%.

I have both (honestly; the Storm is just for work) and I can, also honestly, say that I'd get rid of the Storm in a second and keep the iPhone if I had to. Service has been great with both of them so that is not a consideration. On a level playing field (signal strength for example) anyone that has used both and says the Storm is as easy to use as the iPhone is not being objective.

I've had both, Att for 8 years and Verizon for about 4...always had problems with Att phones and CS, no problems with Verizon so far

Both here as well, Verizon's coverage is just a little better in my area, but both phones are great.

I've had both & hands down Verizon is a better provider in the Northeast US. I'm on the road traveling for work & can't remember a call being dropped on Verizon. I've had a few different phones with AT&T & was constantly losing service.

A few close friends are with AT&T now, and they drop calls with me almost every time we speak. I have resorted to a "text only" relationship with those people.

well part of the issue is that this is in the storm forum..

it will no doubt be weighed to the verizon side..

I prefer verizon but at&t isnt horrid..

I have just had better luck with verizon

I choose AT&T. I have a Storm and it works faster on AT&T's 3G network than it does on Verizons 3G network. Atleast to the places I've traveled.

AT&T only has 3G coverage on something like 30% of its network...according to AT&T rep, big scam right there. Most reliable...when you get it! hahaha

Just keep the Storm and get an iPod touch.. at least you can get insurance on the Storm.. The iPhone doesn't offer it..
