Default Free Visual Voicemail app.

I just released an application called VyMail that interacts with the YouMail service and provides a visual voicemail interface. You'll need to switch your voicemail provider to YouMail to use it (youmail.com), but it's really a great service. More information on the application itself is here: joekrill.com/vymail/, and the direct OTA download link is: joekrill.com/vymail/ota/ (I can't post URLs directly yet, sorry).

This will run on any Blackberry running OS 4.1 and above.

It's fairly light on features at the moment, but I plan to add much more to it.

There is also an audio issue with anyone running the 4.7.0.75 verizon software. There's a pretty major flaw in that version which prevents me from routing sound through the speakerphone speaker, so it will only work through the headset in that case.

Sounds pretty cool. Just gotta make it look sleek to match the 4.6+ OS's =P

Looks like a really cool app but I think I'll wait until there is a new message indicator.

Great idea and it looks really cool, but it won't sync for me.

Edit: Never mind, I figured it out. ***** mistake on my part.

Great little app, it would be really cool if it used my contact list icons.

I went ahead and installed this anyway so I'll remember to keep checking for updates. Keep up the good work.

Works well on my 8330, but running into a problem while trying it on the 8320: I receive the following error when opening the program:

"Error starting VyMail: Symbol 'Screen.onUiEngineAttached' not found.

Oh I didn't realize I was using a 4.3+ API call. I switched that and hopefully it should work for you on the 8320 now. Let me know if you have any more problems going forward.

I totally understand. This is the main priority now. Unfortunately RIM didn't add official support for this until v4.6, so anything prior to that won't be able to support notifications. But the Storm and Bold will at least.

Default Great App!

This is a great app. I love youmail but I hate the way you have to access their mobile site to retrieve vm. This makes things so much easier and more attractive. Joekr, you rock! Thanks so much for this app.

To those having problems, I had to remove the 1 before the area code in the options. Youmail actually registered my phone # without the 1 first.

This app is awesome thanks =P
