I didn't see any mentions of this on the forums, was messing with the developer options and saw you can force the aspect ratio to 16x9. I know some folks ditched their KEY2 because the aspect ratio was causing issues with apps they use, so this might be helpful to some people.

To enable developer settings...
Navigate to Build Number in settings and tap it a bunch of times until a message pops up saying you are a developer, enter your device's password, then go to aspect ratio in the new developer options category in settings.

It doesn't look like being rendered to 16:9, but stretched into 16:9. It would be more contents in vertical menu if it rendered as 16:9 perfectly.

If you want more content to fit on your screen you can also play around with the Smallest Width. I'm comfortable at 470 dp.

You can map switching the aspect ratio to a speed key combo, the convenience key, or a home screen shortcut! Awesome!
