    Anyone else facing this issue after the latest update?

    I've tried all the usual tricks (restart, 32 second reboot, uninstall, reinstall and start from scratch, etc.)

    Well, dark mode isn't too relevant on an LCD anyway lol

    From power consumption perspective maybe, not so much visually let alone the ease on eye strain, more specifically during dusk and night time. I prefer it and can't wait for WhatsApp to finally launch it.

    Yeah, and it would be nice if WA could also offer some customizable options for the color theme of the app, as well as chat bubble style and color.

    In my case, only the crappy dark mode got fixed on the pop-up widget. It's still shrunk and not very useful...

    I've even set up WhatsApp from scratch again using the newest version available. I'm beginning to think there might be an issue with my device's OS version.
