Has anyone here installed Google Maps on their 8900?

I tried to install it several times on mine and it keeps on freezing up at the being of the installation. Powered off, pulled battery out 10secs, still no go. Uninstalled the software and re-downloaded it, tried again, no go.

Does the version of Google Maps not work with the lastest .94 OS?

I downloaded it on my Rogers unlocked on T-Mobile, no issue. .94

I am on Rogers with .94 and I downloaded no problems at all. Did you try and reinstall the OS?

It uses it, but its useless. Just finds points. BB Maps is alooottt better now and has real time nav. POIs, seaches

i too have it downloaded no problem and picks up the GPS pretty quick.. i like bbmaps better though other then when im in some small town bbmaps thinks im nowhere and google has the roads
