This morning I received an update notification on my AT&T carrier locked Priv. I successfully did the update hoping it was the September security patch but after the update it's the August 5 Build AAN367.

Interesting that it arrived so late into September but at least it's an update and unlike the July update that crapped out my Priv this update installed normally.

Same here. Glad to finally get the August update after all the hassles, but we need September's to address the Bluetooth vulnerability.

I received the September patch build as well this morning (9/28/2017) so I guest we're bypassing August. Just glad to receive it at this point.

got the update Notice this morning while in the car. Deferred it at that time and by the time I got to the office it was gone and the software dialog box is totally grayed out. Any ideas?

Same happened to me until I got to a good WiFi location then started download automatically

It's interesting that on the AT&T site it shows the latest Security Patch update is August 5 released August 29 Build AAN367. That is the build I received today albeit a month after it shows being released. Others received that update this morning as well. Could you take a screen shot showing the September 5 Build AAO486 please?

Yes I did find it strange after reading a few members got the aan367 but I got September AAO486

I also have to say my PRIV got new life with this update, it's buttery smooth and the heat has been very minimal

Thanks for posting the screen shot... good on you for getting the September release from AT&T despite what it shows on their website... 👍 Had you also received the July update and August?

Hopefully those of us who got the August release will get a follow up notification soon for the September update.

Mine was also on the June update prior to receiving the August update today. The previous August update I had received from AT&T wouldn't load either.

I realize these updates are released in batches but I find it interesting that some, like you, got the September update while others, like me, are getting the August update.

How about this for super strange... I was bored so I checked for updates and it said I was up to date. So I pushed and held the check for updates and what to you know? Shazaaam!!! I got another update notification.

After downloading and installing I'm now on the September 5 update Build AAO486.

Today was my lucky day... 😁

I am still amazed that the September 5 update pushed to my carrier locked AT&T Priv given that AT&T shows the August 5 release as the latest.

No complaints for sure and I will gladly take it... 👍 I will see what I notice as the days go on but everything seems normal and smooth currently.
