Hi All,

My KeyOne Black edition has been stuck with the "AAN358 Downloading system update Verifying...." message for several days now.

I have rebooted a few times and cleared system cache and rebooted again, but the message is the same.

Has anyone else seen this and know what needs to be done to get it passed this constant verifying?

I think you would need to delete the file that was downloaded for the updated and try the update again. I'm not sure exactly where the file saves or how to delete it but I'm sure there is a thread on it somewhere.

Thanks, I did do a search for a similar thread and how to delete the download file, but I couldn't find it!

...actually, I better search did uncover this bit of help:

clearing the updater's data? (Settings --> Apps --> 3 dots --> Show system --> Updates --> Storage --> Clear data)

I had tried a clear cache before, but not a clear data - which has done the trick.

My device now thinks it is fully up to date and is running AAN358.

Doesn't look like AAN358 is truly the latest version, but the phone is happy for the moment - and maybe it will get another try at the update in a day or three

...and the correct new update came though and installed perfectly in the end.

Thanks for posting this. For two weeks I was dealing with a "verifying update" notification. Cleared the data and new update downloaded and installed ... done.
