i would say 5-10%... just not that mouthy...(majority of the question were answered by CB, and only few newbies brought some 2nd hand device got problem, like black listed device for example). as for worldwide, 0.28% of blackberry OS still in use (check the OS market share, not smart phone market share - that only counts for the new handset for the quarterly shipment). Sammy and IOS got majority, but that including ipad and tablets... so the actual BB 10 might be a bit more... as for BBOS, you can get from BB annual report of SAF total devided by 3-5 dollar, you got your number. "Operating System, Total Market Share. Android, 64.38%. iOS, 33.09%. Windows Phone, 0.89%. Symbian, 0.70%. Java ME, 0.64%. BlackBerry, 0.28%. Samsung ..." I am still on Z30 wifi only, Playbook, wifi only. It might not get counted as 0.28%...

That number is a few years old now and referred to the number of BlackBerry OS users, as compared to other smartphone OSs. The only BlackBerry phones sold now run Google Android OS.

John Chen gave up because BB10 sales were too small for BlackBerry to stay in the hardware business and they were loosing too much money.

There is no potential for BB10 software because there haven't been any new BB10 devices for years and the OS market share is next to zero.

Actually no, but my point was that there are probably more people that don't use their phones to access this site. I assume the 1% number you quoted is from site statistics, and if so I would guess there are others like me that primarily access the site from a computer.

I m buying a new passport in India even after knowing that it won't support whatsapp after dec 2017
