    This may sound nuts but its true. A radio station is advertising it in my area. I know it sounds all wrong but I'm 100% sure of what I heard.

    A radio station is advertising in your area? And that's shocking to you? LOL

    I am not aware of plans for a 3G device for Telus either.

    That statement is incorrect. The 8330 is 3G. Telus is a CDMA2000 network which is 3G.
