Is there a way you can transfer data(contacts, messages, photos and call log) from the BlackBerry 10 phones to the old BlackBerry os 7.1?

Well dunno about call logs & messages. Contacts, pictures, etc, I just used NFC or Bluetooth

There is a transfer app in BBworld which can help with transferring (at least) contacts between OS7, BB10 and Androids. It's free so you can have a go to see if it helps.

I believe transfer app you're referring too is unidirectional from older device to newer OS device.

BlackBerry Content Transfer I believe. But as Chuck above has mentioned, I am not so sure that it can move data from higher to lower Os.
Guess that you'll have to try.

I use ContactsImEx on my Passport to save my contacts to a .csv
I think that the Desktop Manager can import a .csv, but I've not tried it on my 9900.

Yeah, but contacts and photos are easy. Plenty of ways to get that done. How do you do call logs and messages?

I have no idea how to handle the call logs.

I was able to export my SMS messages to XML using SMS Backup on the Passport, and then get them into an Excel spreadsheet on my Mac. I suppose that I could then copy that spreadsheet to the 9900 so I could read them with Documents To Go, but, frankly, I so rarely refer to old SMS messages that it is not worth the effort for me.
