That's true. Feature seems to be gone. I did not like it on the Priv anyway. I prefer double alt for longer numbers.

Multilanguage bug has to be fixed for this though..

Yes it's not there and this has been discussed before in the forum.

Besides that, using Sym button isn't that bad. You get used to it. Remember the gesture on PP was brought because it never had an Alt button. Also, BlackBerry can bring an update to add the feature later. Who knows.

Unfortunately is not there , it's a pity because I was much used in this after nearly 3 years of use of the Passport and the PRIV.

The Swipe gesture is very handy feature as it does not break the flow of typing

The swipe down on the keyboard was available with pre-production software and was removed I hope it comes back.

Also, can you send feedback about the swipe up gesture that gives three shortcuts, it is available on the Aurora which runs android 7.0. This is a heavily requested feature.
