Hey saw this ad on ebay that states the T-mobile branded 8900 starts shipping on the 15th of Dec. What's your thought's????

They are saying that is when they are going to start shipping the phones that people buy off of this e-bay auction, nothing more. They are selling them from Texas.

This I know I was just curious as to it being T-Mo branded....general consensus is the q1 09 for this release on t-mo. I find it interesting that this could be out sooner than that.

T-Mobile USA phones are already floating around, they were giving them out to big wigs at T-Mobile HQ out in Seattle. I have a friend who works out there.

Still doesn't mean they will drop in '08.

EDIT: I have been trying to get my contact to get me a phone early but he says he is still working on getting one himself, as he missed the initial meeting where the other 'high level' people were given phones. He is kinda new over there so I am not being too hard on him, but if I get any info or anything I will pass it along.

My thoughts exactly...I was more interested in the stated release date. I'm sure there are several t-mo branded ones out in the wild, It just seriously peaked my curiosity.

Lucky friend!

And this guy seems a little shady. First, his feedback is good, but not great for someone with a 290 rating. Also, he says the phone would work with verizon. Us phone junkies know that it will not, but to have a mistake like that in your auction and then expect us to pay 1000 bucks for your phone is ridiculous.

Ever held the original curve next to a bold in your own hands? They aren't that different if you ask me. And the 8900 is *very* similar to it's original brother.

come on t-mo!!!! we get screwed out of everything and i read that t-mo is the best service provider 4 black berry's because of the respectable price and black berry package you can get.... they screwed us out the STORM, then outta now where the BOLD.... can't take ma steroid curve away 4rm meeeeeee!!!! most definitely must get this phone
