So there's a vulnerability in Broadcom chipsets that could allow RCE using only a malicious WiFi network:

Seeing as the Passport has a Broadcom chip, does anyone know if Blackberry will be updating BB10 to resolve this problem?
Note that the Q10 and Z10 have a Texas Instruments chip, not a Broadcom chip.

I really will have to send to the junkshop my Passport if the WIFI stops working.

Who am I kidding...for sure there won't be any firmware update from BlackBerry, as there is no longer any real support for BlackBerry 10 devices.
