I am finding my Pebble watch is dropping it's connection unknowingly. Is that as a result of the end of updates from the now defunct company? It was a great watch.

Get a Vector Watch. Not as much functionality but still supported even though Fitbit bought them up. Still get occasional updates and a whopping 60-90 days of battery, even though she is only rated for 30 days.

Perhaps not as feature rich, but for a notification tool, it is far superior to my beloved Pebble Steel that went dead a few months ago.

Love the BlackBerry 10 watch faces too. Hahaha.

And yes, my dad has also reported very bad bluetooth performance from his Pebble. Steel recently, even with his Passport.

So I would say unfortunately, it is time to start looking elsewhere. Sorry.

It was hard for me because I was a Kickstarter supporter of Pebble and it was difficult to find a suitable alternative. Vector Watch fit the bill.

If you do, get the Luna, the Meridian is cheaper, but older.

Or you can customize the watchfaces too from your phone like this

Make sure to run any and all software updates for your pebble watches while you can.

Pebble has sent out one last firmware update that decouples the smartwatch from their cloud service, so when it goes down, the watch can keep functioning.

Mine and my wife's pebbles are working as good as ever. No issues at all.

My Pebble is still working fine. Have you updated the Pebble app?

Same's happening to me since last week, when it losses connection it doesn't reconnect on its own and I have to go to the pebble app and hit the reconnect button, very annoying. Hope we can find a solution.
