    I will start with mine.
    Q5 keyboard and form
Z30 Paratek Antenna, stereo speakers, 4 microphones, BB Natural sound
Z10 detachable battery, glass and quality internal components, screen brightness.
It is not this hard Blackberry to make such a phone is it?

I specifically purchased my Q5 for its plastic screen. It is the only available decent smartphone without fragile, have to nurse it like a baby, glass.

I've dropped my Q5 multiple times, including on concrete. Plastic screen protector has a big concrete point tear in it from one time. Will need to replace that. But blessed my purchasing wisdom every time its come to impact and the way I can sling the thing around, in a way that doesn't suggest future generations depend on it.

IDK why no one makes touch screens using infrared like some recent products have been using for touch (the arm band, and the desk top touch projectors both use infrared). There's also sound for touch technology. They could make phones as tough as the nokia again. Drop em from buildings. That'd be rad.

Although on the topic of great bb10 phones, the q5, while its specs arent all that modern, has a great form factor. Keyboard is excellent, good size for phone calls, and throwing in pockets. Screen could be an inch bigger - way more bevel than it needs. I'd never be caught dead with one of those cheese blocks sitting next to my ear. Get a tablet fool, phones are supposed to be pocketable.

Oh and the sound quality on this is awesome. Almost hard to believe its not 24 bit or 48khz or something. Must have some great DSP. Being a music fan , that's one of my favourite things outside of the zippy text/email keyboard.

I'd say the Passport SE - beautiful device. It's awkward to hold at times, but I'm certain that I will miss the size/aspect ratio of this display when I do eventually move to another platform.

Z30 is the one I use most, but the Passport SE, hands down, is the pinnacle of BB10 - the optimal SoC, storage size, memory size, battery, and camera.

+1 on the Z30! Had one for almost two years and although my unit had a trip to the service center twice for a battery replacement, it still is one of the best phones I've ever used.

    It's difficult.
The best, hardware wise, was the Passport.
The best, usability wise, was the Classic.

But it was always bittersweet, as neither were as good as they could have been.

    BlackBerry Z30.

It is an exquisite piece of hardware and the complete mobile computing experience. Everything about this device is perfect - the OS, the keyboard, the battery - everything. I am, always have and always will be in love with this phone.

Curve BB keyboards were always best for me. And my Q5 is the best of the best because of that matter. Sounds on Q5 can't compare with any other medium price phone.

Just today I have been listening for the fist time about some old movement from Cuba, where all people needs to do many DIY's because of their isolations, and that they have invented many, many ways to keep them functional no matter they couldn't get many modern stuff.

After watching this video, immediately an idea came to my mind, that somehow with many DIY tricks Cubans could make BB10 alive for many years.

They have a lot of experiences in many DIY things and who knows if there is some young genius who would be capable to maintain some OS also with many tricks

Not so serious talks here, don't worry folks, I have been just let my mind dreaming and imagining

Same stash here, but Q10 takes the top spot for me. Size (pocketable), keyboard, removable battery. If it only had the capacitive keyboard!

Blackberry's are tougher than you think. Q10 has hit the concrete 2-3 times. Minor scratch in one corner. Likewise the Z10 has hit tile & hard floors a couple of times, you'd be hard pressed to distinguish it from new, I don't even use a screen protector on that thing. It just goes in my pocket naked.

I used to work on touch screen stuff a while back. Evaluated all those technologies, resistive, regular capacitive etc. Nothing has the feel as good as capacitive. IR and the acoustic method has advantage in that it can work with a large variety of glove materials, IR is the best at that. But IR generally needs a gap around the bezel (and needs to be kept clean) and acoustic has restrictions on what material can be pressed up around the frame/ bezel. Projected capacitive is best overall for many reasons but it was more complex & expensive.

You want a tougher phone? Get rid of the touch screen and use an optical trackpad :-)
