    Is this the latest? My Passport is going crazy! Nothing seems to work right anymore. Browser, Inst10 and quite a few other apps are sticking, going blank or locking up the os.

    Your issue isn't so much the OS, but how it was installed.

    You should probably do a clean install with an autoloader.

    Outside of doing an over the air update or using BlackBerry Link, what other official ways are there to install a new software update?

    Nothing official, although there's what's official and then there's ways that work.

    Use Ultimate Backup from BBW to backup and restore your contacts, messages, calender, etc.

    That's pretty much it, although the use of autoloaders over the years is the preferable method.

    Also, don't bother with a wipe if you are going to use an autoloader. Autoloaders wipe the device as it's loading the OS.

    Doing a wipe beforehand is just a waste of time.
