They cut BIS service here and I'm lost. I like, no love my Pearl and will not change. I pity all those who have. :-)
I was able to get the browser working by configuring the passbook to my provider but i can get gmail emails.
I tried LogicMail and it will send but not recieve.
can anyone help me.

You're out of luck. Pretty much the only way you'll be able to get emails is through the web browser.

I loved the Pearl phone as well, it's too bad it couldn't be refreshed in a retro way so we could use it today.

The SSL version used in LogicMail is deprecated, so receiving won't work anymore. Sending still works because it uses TLS.

If you go to the Bold 9900 forum, you'll find two 'sticky' threads that will help you: one has apps that still work on OS7, which applies to OS6 too, and the other is a thread on using the Bold 9900 without BIS. It should be useful as well, though I've been a little remiss in updating it of late.
