Since the latest update, Ring Tones constantly disappear. If I select a new sound, it works for a little while, then disappears again.

Ok. my first thought would be a ritual exorcism.... but it almost impossible to find a good exorcist these days.
Do you store these on your SD card? It's most common that that's where they are. If it's getting pretty full you might try trimming it abit. It's also very possible that it's time to replace the card. you might try re formatting it first.
If on the other hand your ringtones are stored on your device , try transferring them to the card!
