How about AT&T? If it sells well, good for BlackBerry/TCL/AT&T. If it sells poorly, good for BlackBerry users as AT&T will dump them on eBay...

I'm on AT&T and I'll be picking up an unlocked version. I'm done with buying anything through a carrier.

At&t and TMO shouldn't worry, why would you pay for the device through the carrier. Just buy unlocked out of contract. I don't have this ability being on VZW so fingers crossed it hits big red. Also hoping for Sprint customers who were left out on the PRIV.

It wasn't released on Verizon until 5 months after it launched.

Sprint didn't want anymore BlackBerry's. They stopped with the Q10. There were hopes on the Z30, because they skipped the Z10, but nope.

Carriers like TMO and at&t allow for unlocked phones on their network whereas Verizon allows only for a couple if I'm remembering correctly. Even if bought direct through Google like he Pixel it still has to be an approved device by Verizon.

It's all gonna come down to the carriers for this device to actually any decent market share.

I kinda don't want to buy the phone through a carrier simply because of the bloatware on it.. but i may do it depending on how much savings I can get!

macterp I wonder the same. Since it is TCL, will Blackberry sell it? Maybe so since Blackberry sold DTEK50 to me and it is TCL.

Maybe not since the DTEKs were made for BlackBerry by TCL whereas the Mercury is made by TCL for TCL.
