I am curious on how many of us have paid for apps that are "feature rich" and the better experience because we paid for it. I get it some of heck. Most of the devs are one person at this point. Blaq throws video errors A LOT. Igrann takes forever to load from time to time. Don't get me started on the "other" IG client.. I get it. It's fast paced trying to keep the engine running but we can't get timely anything. Whether Blackberry themselves ( late late late) and now the devs have pretty much I feel given up. Which is sad.

Not me... At first I'd download apps using Bluestack, convert them and the Sideload them. Then Cobalt came along with his solution and I stop even looking in BBW.

Now in the beginning I bought a few utilities and even contacted a few developers asking them to bring their apps to BBW. But after a few months, and when the For Sale Sign went up... I stopped bothering.

Try clearing your iGrann cache, that should help somewhat with speed.

I pay for apps that improve my experience with my device. Since BB10 still works for my needs, I'm happy to support developers who go to the effort to develop quality apps.

I have not bought any apps since moving to Android. It's a free world.

.....still a price to be paid for a guilty conscience when you don't tap that "Donate" button---at least there is for me

p.s. I have F-Droid on my device and use 2 apps and I DID donate a token amount.

I pay for apps on my priv if that is going to make the experience better. If it gets rid of ads and gives me more control I don't mind. I used to look for all the free ones on android. When I switched to bb10 I had to pay for many apps. When I went back to android I carried that idea with me

Yes, it's well worth paying that little bit just to remove adds from a decent app.
