Hi -

I am new to the forums so please don't flame me I got my Storm last week and have weak signal issues no matter where I travel. My 8830 was always pegged at 4-5 bars and this thing is lucky to bounce between 1-2. Dropped calls are starting to become an issue for me. I just called Verizon about that and a seemingly knowledgeable guy said that BB was releasing a patch .94 today at Noon. He said the signal strength is a known issue and it will be available for OTA download at Noon but will take 2 hours to complete. He also said it would be loaded on the web my 6pm EST today.

I asked again if he was referring to .75 and he said no, ".94"

My signal stinks so I guess I'll wait to see what happens...

Acomire, both you and the VZW guy are correct -- .75 is the OS version and .94 is the platform version.

If the OS is .94 I'll **** my pants. That's the platform, OS won't be any higher than .85 and even that's high.

I haven't checked, I could be wrong, that's just what I was told when I asked someone else about the update when we were talking about it because I asked if it was .75 too.

Thats about how i feel. I actually boxed the storm and bought a curve until another update and i will pull the storm back out. Even with the leaked .75 mine was pissing me off freezing up so much i almost chunked it into a wall and it is to nice of a phone to do that too. I know they will have it all worked out soon. Hopefully before 30 days and i can just return the curve

It's there, just click on personal email then select your device then enter your phone number then scroll to the bottom and select download now.

It is still .65 though.
