So, I have a z10 and a broken pb.. I'd like a passport to write story's etc. But the playbook can do the same.. I really like the passport shape... I really can't chose..now that the passport is 320$... and a playbook at 70$.. idk.. I just want a big screen that is portable.. like the passport...

    It's so weird I know..

Actually, you are already leaning towards the Passport.
I find there is more support for the Passport here and OS 10 will be getting at least one more update.
I write quite a bit on my Passport and love it. Very portable and it is my daily driver. (I even make phone calls on it from time to time!) :-)
You can also run the Google Play Store on the Passport and the Amazon store as well, so more apps are available to Passport than the PB.
Evernote works great on it and on my PC so all my writings are available to me wherever/whenever.

So especially if you also need a phone, I would recommend the Passport.

For writing, I think the Passport would be great with it's sizable screen, pkb, and long battery life.

OK. So what are you asking, specifically?

for 70$ you can probably get a nice 19-20 inch monitor with HDMI, then you can hook your Z10 up to it and they are both still portable.

You'd also need a full sized Bluetooth keyboard and mouse if you wanted to do some serious typing, cause I am fairly certain the z10 doesn't support usb otg for usb keyboard and mouse.

He was going to type using a playbook. Didn't mention anything about a BT Playbook KB. No physical kb needed.

If it doesn't matter to you or if it doesn't make a difference what you get then obviously go for the cheaper playback unless you are looking for the passport don't even bother going for it.

I don't think I could do any serious story writing on either. For serious writing I prefer a good old fashion hardware keyboard and mouse with also a decent size monitior.

Yeah it's a unique one. Then I would recommend going for the passport and forgetting the playbook.

Not even the classic with the track pad? I've written many school papers on my Classic and Passport. I don't think it's that bad to do serious writing.

I remember reading an article that the author of "fifty shades of grey" wrote the book pretty much on her Blackberry and some on her mac.

Nope. Wouldn't work for me for serious writing.
