I have seen how people can disable the new WhatsApp data gathering and privacy policy on Android. How is that possible with WhatsApp on BB10 or even online with your account? It's said you can't change it after some time and when I need to get WhatsApp on a different platform I might be locked in the new data gathering and data sharing policy with Facebook and all.

BB10 users don't get the choice.

At the moment the only way for BB10 is to get a German sim card and maybe move to Germany for a bit.

Sounds like a serious topic I will have to notify the authorities about. If in Germany people will get the choice so should people in other EU countries. Do you know why people in Germany do get the choice?

I believe it's because German government decided to sue Facebook for sharing informations with Whatsapp. Every country need to do that for her self.

The German data protection agency blocked Facebook access to German WhatsApp user data and demand that any already copied data be deleted.
