My Z10 doesn't read the SD, it was encrypted on the same phone, but when I go to file manager I only see Device (not the SD). I managed to open the SD on my computer after a long struggle (it was really slow) however the photos can only be opened on the phone. Any recommendations?
By the way, the Z10 detects other memory cards perfectly well.
    Thanks.

i don't think you can open those files anymore if the phone can't read them. DO you have an unencrypted backup of the sd card somewhere??

    You can't.

Using encryption depends on the device (the SD card) working perfectly. The minute it doesn't, your data is lost, which is why it's so critical to implement a diligent backup schedule when using encryption.

Security requires work and expense and sacrifices, which is why most people don't bother.

Although, try rebooting your device and try it again. If that fails, you're toast.
