Hey guys quick question just wondering if anyone has switched from the At&t branded Passport to the Passport SE and not forced to change your plan?

I know I could call and ask but thought I would also check the great forum.

I only ask because I remember when I was with Sprint and changed phones they also changed my plan.

If you have unlimited data, you can keep it, but if the system doesn't like your IMEI, and your previous phone was very similar to your new one, there's no need to update your IMEI. Basically, any LTE-capable BB OS10 IMEI is effectively an Android phone to AT&T. No special features whatsoever, so they're interchangeable for the most part.

They're essentially the exact same device. Just switch sim cards and you'll be fine.

You can switch back and forth too until you damage the sim tray. just saying.
