    I'm thinking bb10 best operating system out there by far but how come wee don't se more apps for BlackBerry users. Is the BlackBerry tools bad for making apps or does it just need a overhaul

    Basically answered above, it's not financially viable, the market is tiiiiiny, BlackBerry have stopped updating our API's, lack of general interest unless it's a social media App ( which people then moan that they have to pay for it)... the list goes on

    And the other reason is that other platform's apps require number of permissions and tend to gather a lot of unnecessary personal information of the user which Blackberry does not encourage.

    That is the main reason why Whatsapp and Facebook are quitting BB world.

    They access the deepest parts of your phone to gather your information such as browsing history, activity etc etc. This will not be possible on a BB as it is the most secure OS and BB OS does not encourage an app overtaking the phone.

    Eh, it is possible, just BlackBerry didn't release API's to access them, they could have easily done it and had a good review process (which they don't have at all)

    No. Facebook left because they no longer have any reason to support its public APIs when they can reach 99.1% of the entire mobile world with two apps - iOS and Android.

    Whatsapp - same reason. Why bother with BB10?
