I just rolled back from my Passport to a brand new P9981
I have forgotten everything all these years about os 7.
Can you please tell me a way i can sync my contacts from my outlook server?
Also what is the way i can sideload apps outside bbworld and where to find a list of some usefull ones? like navi, viber etc?

Did you check to make sure you enabled BIS on your plan?

Did you get the Service Books sent to your device? Add the outlook account?

Apps... not all BBOS apps work with BBOS7.1... it's best to stick with BBW as it will match your OS up with available apps. Yes you can find the cod files on the web and there are some utilities for installing them - but compatibility can be an issue if the app was only built for pre BBOS7. And just finding sites that still host older BBOS apps is pretty hard these days. Tried a few I remember and they are all now dead links. And for an app like Viber it depends on the developer still allowing access to their servers... and I taught (but not sure) they dropped support for Viber.
