In the most unfortunate event my Q10 dies, which I hope it doesn't, which non-Blackberry phone is comparable to a BlackBerry? I've been with Sprint for a long time and have unlimited data that I really don't want to give up.

None... especially if you are wanting to stick with SPRINT and a PKB device.

I understand wanting to stick with your carrier... for me Verizon is the only option at my home.

Need to decide if iOS or Android best fits your needs. Then you can narrow it down to the few SPRINT compatible devices.

Boxxer1371 I hold on to the hope that Sprint will one day offer BlackBerry devices as I am pounding away on a 2.5 year old Q10 on an unlimited data plan too.

There is a huge thread featuring Cobalt's efforts to fit Priv BlackBerry features to other Android devices-you may want to look at it and consider Android if the worst should come to pass and your Q10 is retired.

None. Aquire another Q-10 as a back up.

I don't understand why you don't just purchase an unlocked device or a used one that is locked to Sprint's network already. You do have other options than just buying through your carrier.

You're limited on Sprint's network. It's not that easy..

Wondering if any of the three rumored, new Android devices will be Sprint or CDMA compatible?

    Maybe Verizon, I doubt Sprint.

Even then, a possible CDMA version would come out six months after the rest of world GSM version.
